¡Hola!

I'm really excited to extend this personal invite for an epic adventure in Costa Rica. In fact, I've been telling anyone who will listen that it's one of the best countries I've ever visited.

We're not about the usual tourist stuff. We've set up something special – a homestay weekend with local families to get you right into the heart of Costa Rican life. Plus, we'll connect with local schools, giving you the opportunity to meet and hopefully make lifelong friends!

Our aim? To engage with the real Costa Rica with you and discover what 'Pura Vida' is truly about—its culture, its people, its vibrant life. Trust me, experiencing this the Ikigai Camps way is something else. Can't wait to have you with us.

¡Nos vemos en Costa Rica!

The Accomodation

Our time in Costa Rica is split between the city and the beaches, as we start in Heredia known as the 'City of Flowers' before moving to the coastal town of Samara.

Both residences are situated on purpose built student campuses and have:

  • Shared rooms (doubles and triples, same gender)

  • 24/7 Security and Customer Services

  • Free WiFi

  • Facilities

    • Laundry

    • Communal area

    • Private terraces

  • On-site chef

  • Outdoor shower (Samara)

  • Hammocks

For two nights, alongside other campers, you will stay with a local family in a Homestay. Hand chosen to give you the most authentic and genuine Costa Rican experience, there is no better way to live like a local!

  • Shared rooms with other Ikigai Campers (same gender)

  • Homecooked food
